How long does it take to install an artificial grass putting green and what is involved?
Depending on the design, an installation can take anywhere from one day to a week. To achieve the highest standard and ensure your artificial putting green maximises its life span – a quality installation is essential.
Preparation of the base is really the key to the look and stability of the putting green for years to come, which is why we lay a base of aggregate and sharp sand, following the excavation of the lawn area. Once the bases have been laid and compacted with a whacker plate a stabilisation membrane in installed, followed by the actual putting green.
